Immerse yourself in Spanish and the fascinating Latin American culture on one of our two week or month long Spanish language classes in Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, or Peru.
You will have 15 hours of tutoring a week with a qualified teacher on a one-to-one basis or will be paired with another volunteer who speaks the same level of Spanish. You'll learn quickly - especially because you will also have plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills while staying with your Spanish-speaking host family!
The intensive classes are tailored to suit your ability. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been learning Spanish for several years, being surrounded by the language every day will help your skills progress in leaps and bounds. After your lessons, there is plenty of free time for you to explore the local area - after you've done your homework, of course!
Alternatively you can undertake a short 14-hour or 30-hour course in Spanish. These courses are tailored to your needs and run alongside your main volunteer project. If you are planning on volunteering abroad for three months or more, you could also complete a 60-hour course alongside your volunteer experience. For more information please visit our foreign language course page.
You might like to learn Spanish on a Language Project in Peru, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This project provides a great insight into Peruvian culture. You will be living in Cusco, which is full of Incan heritage and opportunities for exploration and adventure. It's easy to trek in the jungle, visit the ancient site of Machu Picchu or enjoy white water rafting on the Urubamba River.
Other opportunities for volunteering abroad in Peru are available in Teaching, Care, Sports, Medicine, Inca Projects, and Conservation. Many volunteers choose to join one of these projects after finishing their month Spanish Language Project.
