Project Hawai'i 2016!! Teen Mentoring Summer Camp offers teens the opportunity to gain life skills, leadership and mentoring skills while building self-esteem in the lives of homeless children. This is a very culturally based educational program that is open to high school aged groups. Teens must have a 3.2 gpa+ in order to apply. If the group is a club, or other school based program, the teens will need separate reference letters from someone outside that particular group as well.
Teens are required to be in good physical condition to be able to participate in all sorts of activities including water sports, hiking, swimming, and various daily activities.
Teens will need to each qualify on their own merit, but will take recommendations and considerations when traveling with in the group.

Typical Volunteer

A typical volunteer is dedicated to their own growth, both educationally, and personally. Most teens are outgoing, but those who are more shy do just fine. They come with an open mind and full of excitement for all they will encounter. Our teens build life long relationships and truly find their own selves while on this tour.
