This tour is very unique and is truly a once in a lifetime experience for the teens. Teens will experience the hidden treasures of the island not open to the general public and work hands on with homeless children. This tour is a very face paced travel experience. We only have two weeks to introduce all the islands wonders, teach generations of authentic Hawaiian traditions and run a summer camp. So, up for adventure and travel?? This is perfect for you.
This tour starts off on the island of O'ahu....and it starts from the landing of your plane. In just a few days we will have surf lessons by pipeline pro's, attend training workshops and explore beaches of this island. Get ready for our camp buddies and their school needs, and then jump on a plane for our sleepover camp! Get ready...for the time of your life.
Now on the island of Hawai'i, also known as the Big Island, we will start off with a zip line adventure through the botanical gardens on the way to the sleepover camp with our keiki (children). Stop off by the locals favorite waterfalls for a picnic lunch and then ready for our retreat experiences.
Teens will work with their camp buddies at the camp and guide them through fun and educational planned activities. Since this is a 24/7 camp, teens will have their own adventures away from the little one's for a break of the camp setting. Teens will attend their Hula lessons, and explore the Paniolo Town famous for our cowboys. The teens will also be able to explore the sacred lands of Waipio Valley and swim at the black sands that is not open to the public. This is a Native Hawaiian area that only locals can go.
Furthermore, the teens will have teen movie night and other fun activities for their own bonding and experience.
Back at camp teens will have so much fun with their buddies in the serene setting high in the majestic mountains of Honoka'a. This area is secluded and peaceful, perfect for our "wild monsters", no really, we have monster movie night and our little one's transform into their own monsters for the day. We also have glam night, play presentation and even water wars. Too much fun for only 5 days!!
After camp, teens will head off to the other side of the island for a dolphin cruise, outdoor movie night, and beach exploration at the "voted best" by every teen at every tour before.
Back to our "hometown" and prepare for the Authentic Lu'au the teens will present for their camp buddies. Putting all their new found Cultural Lessons to the test, and performing their Hula along with the making of the authentic Hawaiian dishes for their camp buddies and families to enjoy.
Off to the island of O'ahu for their own farewell party as they dance the night away...well til curfew anyway. And then their final good byes before the departures.
This is so packed full of adventure, teens will need a vacation once they reach back home. No really, they will need to sleep!!
So much to mention, but we did forget to mention these few pointers:

* This is Tax Deductible: Our organization is a nonprofit that runs by volunteers; and your teens tuition helps to sponsor their homeless child. Therefore your tuition becomes tax deductible.
* Teens receive camp t-shirts, memory books, and welcome packages with all the needs of the islands.

Our volunteer program requires teens to be involved with children; therefore, must enjoy working with young children and have patients. Our teens should be adventurous and open minded. This tour is open to teens enrolled in High School or Class of 2012 and have a 3.2 GPA or higher, along with reference letters.
Since our tour has lots of adventure excursions, teens need to be in good physical health and enjoy hiking, swimming, etc. Teens will be working as a team to reach the goals of camp, so should be easy going and work well with others. Friendly, open minded and ready for adventure will sum up the qualifications required to succeed in this program.
USD4,950.00 (early discount if enrolled by Dec. 31)
