* Water heating is solar - and natural gas central system for cloudy days.
* ALL the water used in Telhado Verde is recycled for keeping our garden. First officially approved project in Armacao dos Bizios village.
* Careful handling of all waste for recycle and proper destination.
* Native plants have all been preserved and fruit trees were planted for feeding birds and native possons. Flower plants were distributed for all seasons to keep feeding of butterflies and hummingbirds.
* Environmental treatment for mosquitoes and plagues with the use of Neem oil and planting of natural repellent species, harmless to birds and cigales.
* At Pousada Telhado Verde all interior lights are electronic and external areas with mostly 30 leads lamps, dramatically reducing energy consumption.

Arriving in Buzios follow main street - blue line on the map - till junction identified as "Colina de Geribá" - then turn right to the beach. That's our street.
