Popa Paradise Beach Resort is a 16-room luxury villas located in the Southern archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Panama. At Popa we strive to create an environment that showcases the natural beauty of the Bocas Islands.

Popa Paradise is unique amongst Bocas del Toro hotels in that our property offers a wide variety of activities, perfect for the Caribbean vacation. Guests enjoy walking along our 2 white sand beaches, paddling around the rocky shores in kayaks, playing volleyball, billiards or ping pong, and best of all relaxing in the pool at the swim-up bar.

Popa is where you'll find a relaxed Caribbean atmosphere, and where the service is still personal. We offer spacious and inviting accommodations, delicious food, all the amenities, internet facilities, and personal attention that experienced travelers seek.

We offer a variety of accommodations, making our small resort unique amongst Bocas del Toro hotels.

Popa Paradise offers eight individual casitas, five attached lodge rooms, two junior suites and one master suite, all with ocean views.

The casitas are free-standing, individual suites with King, Queen, or two twin size beds and a pull-out twin bed. All offer full bathrooms with hot water, air conditioning, satellite SKY television, DVD player, beautiful hardwood furniture and large shaded porches for enjoying the ocean view and breezes.

Location

Direct flights to Bocas arrive daily from Panama city or San Jose, Costa Rica. The flight from Albrook airport in Panama city is about 1 hour to Bocas del Toro International Airport (BOC). Upon arrival, take a taxi ride to our sister hotel, Bocas Paradise Hotel ($1 per person). Our boat will be waiting for you on the dock at the hotel, to whisk you away on the 35-minute journey to Isla Popa.

Due to safety concerns, please be aware that we do not leave Bocas del Toro any time after 5:30 pm to return to return to Popa Paradise. Afternoon flights to Bocas del Toro arrive early enough for you to meet us at our sister property, Bocas Paradise Hotel, for the transfer. If there are delays or emergencies, the staff of Bocas Paradise can help you get in touch with us for special arrangements. If you are staying in our sister property, Bocas Paradise Hotel, for a night in Bocas del Toro we will arrange a pick up time with you and the Bocas Paradise Hotel staff.

There is also a ferry and water-taxi service that leaves Almirante on the mainland approximately every thirty minutes during daylight that delivers you to Bocas del Toro town.
