Italy: Florence

Polimoda International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing is an Italian center of excellence, recognized worldwide for its high quality, fashion-oriented, hands-on training for students seeking
professional careers in the fashion industry.

The school offers a wide range of undergraduate and masters programs that go from design to marketing, from management to communication. The teaching program is divided into 4 core areas:

- Design & Technology
- Business & Management
- Media & Communication
- Research & Trend Vision

Courses offered vary from a range of 10 weeks (introductory classes that offer you a taste of the subject) to 6 to 14 months for Masters programs to 4 years for the full undergraduate degree. Summer courses are intensive courses from design to brand management to bag or shoe design during the month of July.

Over 60% of students at Polimoda come from overseas and over 80% are employed in the field of fashion within 6 months of completing their studies. Polimoda has many connections with local companies working in fashion, from Ferragamo to Gucci to Prada and Tod's and many more Italian and international brands that offer students the opportunity to practice what they learn in an internship as part of their studies.
