Students intern for 3 months at local fashion companies at the end of their programs, and over 90% of students are working in the fashion sector withing 6 months after graduation.
The program aims to create professionals to work in the fashion industry. The majority of our students go on to work in the fashion sector directly after their studies at Polimoda. Most student projects are tied directly to real work requests from local fashion businesses, such as Gucci, Ferragamo, Tod's, and Stefanel, among many others.
The campus is set in the city in Villa Strozzi which is surrounded by a large park, as well as a design lab in Florence and fabric and knit workshop in Prato. About 35% of our students are international, coming from all over the world. The school has partnerships with the local fashion industry, creating a close collaboration between the academic world and the actual sector and preparing students to enter the fashion sector with the skills that are actually in demand.
