Plas Gwyn is a 19th century town house in the centre of the award-winning village of Beddgelert - surely the showpiece village of Snowdonia. A matter of yards from one of the most photographed bridges in North Wales, Plas Gwyn is one of the tallest properties, commanding majestic views across the River Colwyn , towards the Aberglaslyn Pass and to the slopes of Moel Hebog. It is ideally situated for mountain walking , other outdoor pursuits and scenic drives.
We now have a drying room for all your outdoor gear. The non smoking accommodation comprises three double and one twin-bedded en-suite rooms - all with colour TV's - plus two single rooms. All rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities. We now offer Wireless Broadband access to those who wish to bring their own laptop. Plas Gwyn guest house is covered by full Guest House Liability Insurance, Fire Regulations and regular Council Health and Safety and Trading Standards Inspections.
Beddgelert stands on the junction of the A498 and A4085 roads, 7 miles north of Porthmadog and 13 miles south-east of Caernarfon. From the Midlands and the South, approach along the A5 to Betws-y-Coed and continue from Capel Curig on the A4086 and then the A498. From the north west, the A55 and the A470 lead you to Betws-y-Coed.
"Plas Gwyn" is situated next to the river bridge and is the tall house with the white shutters.
