Looking after children for a host family in Western Europe and the USA.
Under the au pair program, Au Pairs are welcomed into the homes of Host Families as a family member for a cultural exchange. In summer we have stays starting at one month (only in Spain). Au pairs participate in cultural and educational activities designed to teach them about Spanish life, and they assist with childcare. You must provide approximately 25 hours of quality childcare or childcare activities per week as an au pair, 40 hours a week as an au pair plus. Commit to a 3 (only in summer), 6, 9 or 12-month program. In summer, stays of one to three months are possible. At other times, nine or more months are preferred or be able to stay in Spain until the end of May, regardless of when you arrive.
Excellent way to improve one's language ability, visit a foreign country, experience a cultural exchange and get paid for it.

Planet Au Pair, a division of International Educational Services (IES), provides young people with the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience in Spain, the USA and the rest of Western Europe as an Au Pair. An au pair is not a maid or servant, but like an older sister or brother who expects to be treated as another member of the family. It's also an excellent way for a family's children to learn another language and culture from a native speaker.
