Description

Teachers work an 11 month contract in accordance with the Thai school year. Teachers are responsible for teaching to the dedicated English language curriculum in either Kamala or Kalim schools. Teachers also become involved with Coconut Club the extra-curricular after school programme for students who live at Kamala school. This work enables teachers to form lasting bonds with individual students and enjoy a rewarding and enriching overall experience. Aside from formal teaching hours, he or she should also be willing to give time to lesson planning and materials preparation.

Qualifications

This post is an eleven month contract running.

* Applicant must hold a college or university degree from an accredited institution.

* TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA/ Degree in Education etc.

* Enthusiastic interest in and advocate for children's rights, education and development.

* Willingness to learn, cultural awareness and flexibility.
