Personal Overseas Development (PoD)

Our time spent at the park was truly amazing. As a volunteer you are involved in all aspects of the elephants care and well-being. It gave us a true insight into the herd dynamics and psychology which we would never have gained any other way. Truly recommend this project!

I had the most amazing time; it was better than I could of ever imagined. The most welcoming family who made me feel at home as soon as I walked through the door. The location is beautiful and the beach is the most amazing beach I've ever seen. I absolutely loved riding across the beach and through the waves on wonderful horses with some of the best personalities. I would recommend this project to everyone who has a love for animals

I had a fabulous time and really didn't want to come back. The people at the project are the most professional, generous and inspirational people I have ever met and the region the most breath taking. If I had the choice I would give up my job here and be back in an instant. The project was amazing.

I really enjoyed my time at the project and could not fault any person or aspect there at all. I met some amazing people and was surprised at how much each and every one of these people meant to me when it came to saying goodbye! For an experience of a lifetime; the project more than lived up to any expectations!!

Not knowing much about primates in particular, I was soon enthralled by all their past's and I am glad to have been able to help care for them in any way possible. Sue and the volunteers welcomed me into the South African community. The only thing I regret is not volunteering here for longer
