Teach acting and theater performance courses to children at a community center in Tacloban City, Philippines, through this exciting volunteering opportunity! You will be able to share your own knowledge and experiences with enthusiastic Filipino youth, filling their summer days with a structured and fun activity. Create a space for artistic and personal growth as you use theater to build self-confidence. You will be a part of the volunteer structure of the entire community center, which empowers youth, adults, and families throughout Tacloban City by providing the activities and services that are most needed. Most volunteer opportunities occur during the summer months when students are out of school and spend their days at the community center. The minimum volunteering requirement is 10 hours per week for one week, but PAA strongly recommends more than one week.
