All Student Ambassador programs provide a unique opportunity for educational growth, which can help give you an edge in the classroom. In addition, academic credit and service-learning hours are available (depending on the program and age requirements).
High school students: Your involvement as a Student Ambassador can provide you with a competitive edge on your college and scholarship applications. Student Ambassador alumni have found that their experiences with People to People Ambassador Programs helped them answer many interview questions and, in some cases, provided the theme for admissions and scholarship essays.
Junior high/middle school students: Starting off on the right foot in high school is critical to your success. Your experience as a Student Ambassador will prepare you to be more confident, responsible, and assertive. Elementary school: For many students, the transition from grade school to junior high or middle school can be a challenging time. By participating in a People to People Student Ambassador program, students will gain valuable skills to help them succeed in the transition, including social interaction and time-management skills, self-confidence, respect for others, and how to make smart choices.
