The online TESOL certificate program provides graduate-level courses designed for candidates seeking entry-level English language teaching credentials. All 4 courses are delivered entirely online to give you maximum convenience and flexibility around your busy schedule, and the courses are taught by the same faculty who teach in our resident Master of Arts in TESL (MA TESL) program at University Park.

Enrolling in the online TESOL certificate program will allow you to earn a postbaccalaureate certificate without having to relocate to Penn State.
Interested candidates must:
* Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Submit a copy of your undergraduate transcript
If you are an international student (i.e., do not hold a U.S. passport), you must:
* Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Submit a copy of your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score
The language of instruction at Penn State is English. International applicants must take and submit scores for the TOEFL. The minimum acceptable score for the Internet-based TOEFL test is 100, with a 23 on the speaking section; for the computer-based test, the minimum score is 250.
