  • Description

    The program is in different areas such as:

    * Volunteering in Primary and Secondary Schools
    * Volunteering in Children Homes and Mentally and Physically Disable Institutions
    * Volunteering in Construction projects, environmental projects, micro finance projects, ICT projects,Agriculture projects, IGA Projects
    * Volunteering in Human rights Institutions, wildlife institutions
    * Volunteering in Music and Language project search as teaching Piano, Guitar, Drums, Violin, teaching Italian, German and French

    Projects take place in different location (urban and rural). Pamoja International Voluntary Services offers the following Programs:

    * International Work Camps
    * Medium Term Volunteering
    * Educational Tourism which has 3 sub programs as outlined below:
    - 5 day expedition program which includes, hiking/trekking, cycling, rafting, mountain climbing, visiting nature parks, etc.
    - We have a 3 nights safari tour program in Maasai Mara
    - We have a one day tour in Nairobi, visiting museums, historical monuments, cultural villages, etc.

  • Highlights

    Pamoja International Voluntary Services is a Non Governmental Organization that organizes Work Camp Programs, Youth Exchange, Mid and Long Term Volunteer Program and Educational Tourism.

    It is a National Youth organization that gives young and old people an opportunity to participate in our projects/activities where they work hand in hand with the community, as well as the volunteers sharing ideas, skills, experiences and promoting Intercultural exchange.

    We are members of Youth Agenda - Kenya, Eastern African Work Camp Association - Uganda and Co-ordination Committee for International Voluntary Service - France

    We have Programs in different fields such as Construction, Environment, Education, Health etc.

    Education Tourism covers Archaelogy, Palaeontology, Wild Animals, Rivers, Landscape, Maasai community, beautiful parks and reserves, educational knowledge on some fauna and flora etc.

  • Qualifications

    This program is open to any person aged from 18 year and above, should be able to speak, read and write in English. Should be co-operative, patient and able to live and adapt in basic conditions of life.

    No specific qualifications but we need motivated, patient, flexible, respectful, understanding, adaptable volunteers. Bring your smile along.
