I had moved to Shanghai with my boyfriend and was looking for a TEFL course as I wanted to teach in Shanghai. Choosing the Orient Now 1 month TEFL was a great choice as I got to meet numerous interesting teachers, trainers and most importantly, gained the confidence in teaching English in China. Orient Now provided an all-round education, and myself and other students participated in Chinese language classes, and other activities. I'm still in touch with most of students even today!

After completing the one month TEFL with Orient Now, I felt comfortable with teaching both adults and children. The classes are both practical and informative and get you into the classroom faster than an online course. After the course I found a job in Shanghai easily and was able to settle into teaching and Shanghai file well.

Myself and my girlfriend did the weekend course with Orient Now in late October. The weekend course was great for us as we are about to start working and only had a short time to complete the course. The course was a great introduction to teaching in China. We liked how it was the only course to be practical and classroom based, and we realised after that only by teaching in a classroom could be actually learn how to teach.
