  • Description

Oranim Long Term Israel Programs invites you to spend five meaningful and fulfilling months in the most vibrant hub of business in Israel, Tel Aviv. Here you will have the chance to pursue internship opportunities in whatever career path you choose. During the Tel Aviv Internship Experience, you will not be making coffee, filing for hours on end, or wasting time answering phones. Instead, you will receive hands on guidance and practical training while consistently working on several important projects. Essentially, you will bypass the American tradition of working your way up from the mail room and experience the Israeli way, where on day one you're treated like you've already been working there for years! Naturally, while you're here, you will have ample time to explore the historical and beautiful streets of Neve Tzedek, make lasting friendships with Israelis and other international travelers, and, of course, relax and soak up the sun on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. After the best five months of your life, you will leave Israel with skills and experience derived from opportunities you will not be able to find anywhere else, except on the Tel Aviv Internship Experience.

Tel Aviv Internship Experience is a personalized internship program catering to each individual applicant. Apply to intern in any field: marketing, hi-tech, law or any other field you're interested in. We will work to find a placement that fits you!

Program coordinators work one on one with each intern to determine his or her passions, interests and talents. After careful consideration and collaboration, Internship Experience works with leading job-placement companies to match your needs as you strive for that "cutting edge" experience that will propel you to a successful career. By paying close attention to the individual desires as well as needs, every intern is able to maximize their potential in the most fitting ways within their companies.

  • Highlights

Internships - Interns can apply to work in any field imaginable.

City Based Residence - All interns live throughout the city centers of Tel Aviv - not on isolated campuses.

Living Arrangements - Interns will feel right at home living in the city centers, 90 seconds from the beach! Interns live in newly renovated hotel apartments throughout the city. Fully-furnished studio size apartments include air conditioning, kitchenettes, wireless Internet, cable television, and 2 single beds, living two roommates per room.

Meaningful Volunteer Opportunities - Interns can arrange their work schedules to include a variety of volunteer opportunities according to their skills, background and interests. Contribute your time and expertise to children in under-privileged communities and for the extremely motivated, you have the ability to design your own program!

Trips & Special Excursions - Participants will enjoy educational excursions throughout Israel - exploring Israel's truly unique cities including the City of Gold: Jerusalem, Israel's Mediterranean metropolis: Tel Aviv, and surrounding areas. Participants also get the opportunity to attend leadership training, seminars, forums, and Shabbatons alongside other MASA participants.

Learn and Use Hebrew - The key to forging strong connections in Israel is through the language. That's why all Community Involvement participants will undergo intensive Hebrew training - learning practical Hebrew that can be used during all of their daily activities.

Judaism in Israel - Learn about Jewish life, philosophy, and observances from Jewish leaders in an open and non-denominational environment.

Israel Studies - Experts will deliver frequent lectures on a wide variety of topics relating to Israel, including politics, history, culture, and society.

Host Families - Each participant is paired with an Israeli host family with whom participants will be able to enjoy Holidays, Shabbat dinners and family outings. Host families play an active role in helping participants integrate into the community, creating life-long friendships.
