  • Description

Join School Camps for children and teenagers every October and April, Northeast Thailand or South Thailand by the sea.

Openmind Projects cooperates with local schools and towns and we arrange our own camps at our Training Center in NongKhai by the Lao border.

Teenagers from villages learn English, IT and ecology and volunteers can learn about Thai culture, dancing, cooking, boxing at these very popular holiday camps.

Volunteers normally work in a team with local colleagues.

Thai teachers may also join activities.

  • Highlights

One such camp is the Thung Fon Camp at a very nice school in the genuine northeast of Thailand, the charming and small Thung Fon town, about an hour's drive from Nongkhai our base town, run by the headmaster and his wife.

Really off the beaten tracks and where volunteers get a chance to learn and practice Thai culture, including Thai dancing, boxing, sword fighting, cooking and more.

The camps normally end with an amazing party and show where Thai students and volunteers show what they have learned!

Volunteers stay, at a very nice guesthouse, and also eat at the school. Volunteers can participate, the whole or part of the month of April or October.

The Krabi Camps are arranged in popular Krabi town by the sea and run by Krabi town and Openmind Projects.

Volunteers get a chance to learn and practice Thai culture and visit islands and other attractions around Krabi.

The camp ends with a certificate ceremony and show where Thai students show what they have learned!

Volunteers stay, at our Openmind house or independently. Volunteers can participate, the whole or part of the month of April or October.

And there are other camps to join too, ask us.
