Study abroad in Namibia with North Carolina State University.
Study abroad in Namibia and explore the spectacular landscapes and ecology of the oldest desert in the world, the Namib; spend one day at the coast on adventure tourism activities; track desert elephants in Damaraland; study the magnificent diversity of wildlife in the world famous Etosha National Park; and learn more about predator conservation, human-wildlife conflict, park management, savanna ecology and game ranching. Engage in a variety of ecological sampling techniques, including radio tracking.

Scholarships are available for NC State students only. Non-NCSU and out-of-state students have to apply for scholarship through their home institution.

The mission of the Study Abroad Office is to serve all North Carolina State University students by providing academically-based international experiences which will give them the skills to be active, informed, and culturally sensitive citizens in the global community. In order to achieve this, the SAO will endeavor to increase NC State student participation in study abroad. One way to do this is by advocating and collaborating with faculty and academic departments in a wide range of disciplines, to integrate study abroad into the curriculum, and to advance the internationalization of NC State.
