Description: Re-organization and development of the IT system for the company
This internship is a strategic project for the development of the company, which revolves around:
- Analyzing the current network, hardware and software,
- Designing and implementing the network and its security
- Designing the data storage backup system
- Selecting and supporting software and installations
- Managing network, access and security
- Supporting and training employees (troubleshooting and system support)
- Writing the documentation to ensure and transfer knowledge
More than a simple internship, this project will provide the applicant with a rewarding experience at the end of the world in a multicultural and dynamic team.
Requirements:
The candidate should have the following professional skills:
- Should have a good Spanish written and oral skills
- Knowledge in network development and management
- Knowledge about the new innovation in the domain of Information System and IT

Company description:
Nomadas Outdoor Services is the company created to direct and coordinate all aspects of the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race. Besides organizing and executing this international sporting event, the organization offers additional services related to its exceptional location in Patagonia; including consultancy, logistical support management, as well as exclusive trips for corporate and VIP tourists all tailor-made ventures following the "NĂ³madas Outdoor Ethics". These have been praised by clients such as the Wildlife Conservation Society, National Geographic Television, Chilean Ministry of Agriculture and Tourism Authorities, as well as Henry Paulson (former U.S. Treasury Secretary and member of the International Monetary Fund).
Branching out in 2008, a separate company called Nomadas Outdoor School was created. The ISO 9001 certified school aims to further open the doors to the natural world by offering educational courses that foster knowledge of the environment as well as teaching skills for exploration and adventure.

The WENGER PATAGONIAN EXPEDITION RACE aims to raise awareness about the need to protect the natural resources that abounds in Southern Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego. We want to showcase to the world the unique and stunning beauty of the region and eventually educate individuals of the need to develop a sustainable eco tourism program.
