"I feel like stealing the PeaceCorps' motto..."The hardest job you'll ever love." But that pretty much sums it up when I think of the past four years. I've never worked so hard and never loved my job more than I do right now. Working with NICS is as ministry should beall out. Not only do I have the opportunity to take on new tasks professionally, but there is incredible opportunity for real discipleship among my students. If you would have your life and walk with Christ examined, just become a NICS teacher/staff member. My students are constantly asking the tough questions of life and faith as they are looking to my life to see what this Christianity thing is all about. From weekend trips for sports events to youth ministry at our local fellowship, I have chance after chance to speak truth into their lives and for them to see me living an authentic relationship with Jesus. This is all by God's grace. The beautiful thing is that I'm not alone in this ministry. The staff here shares their burdens and passion for the students and parents of students. We consistently pray together for our ministry and work together on projects like Teen Spiritual Boot Camp (a weekend beach trip/retreat), in-school discipleship program, weekly chapels and annual missions trips. I love this school and the ministry God has given me here. Thanks!"
