As part of Next Step Connections commitment to help the next generation of future leaders take their first steps into the professional world, we have created the NSC Young Entrepreneur program in China for students aged between 15 and 19 years old. Hosted at the premises of a prominent Chinese business university in Shanghai, the young entrepreneur program offers you a unique opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills, business acumen and Chinese language abilities at an early age.

Highlights

Have you got what it takes to be an entrepreneur in one of Asia's most exciting city? If you're aged 15-19 and have entrepreneurial drive, step out from your comfort zone and apply now!

The goals of the program are three-fold. First, to expose outstanding high school students to entrepreneurship principles, second, to teach students the best practices for leadership as well as how to manage innovation and grow a business, third, to learn about business practices, culture and etiquette in a foreign setting in China.

Not only does the Young Entrepreneur Program give high school students a competitive edge over their peers in college preparedness but it also gives them an invaluable educational experience in which they expand their knowledge of China and learn about the fundamentals of business, finance, and entrepreneurship.

Our summer camps program aims at teaching high school students new learning tools compared to other typical high school programs, which can result in new learning perspectives and thought processes.

The program will take place from July 2, to July 23, and from July 23, to August 13, 2011 on the campus of Donghua University. A total of 20 students per session will be selected to participate in the HEP.
