We have a strong network of investment banking firms, Private Equity firms, corporate finance, investments, asset management, Growth Capital, Venture Capital, finance research and analysis, portfolio management and financial consulting and advisory firms.

Highlights

As the fastest growing economy in the world, there is no better place but China to hone your skills in finance. The World Bank raised its growth forecast in China for 2009 from 6.5% to 7.2% amid signs that the market is doing better than expected. The Chinese economy is expected to weather the financial storm in perfect shape.

There are many different projects that you could be asked to work on. Our main objective will be to tailor the projects to your interest and background.

We organize various finance internship opportunities in China with mid-size local and international companies involved in Private Equity, Growth Capital, investment banking, finance research and analysis, portfolio management, asset management or financial investment and consulting.

You'll be using your technical skills, but equally important, you'll be utilizing your leadership and interpersonal skills to complete various finance projects.

A typical day starts around 8.30 am at the office and finishes around 6.30pm with one hour for lunch.

Past internship tasks includes:

- leading the execution of port-industrial zone projects as well as research, analysis and target identification for several industries in India.
- Conducted financial analysis on a plantation in Brazil for biodiesel, and determined project's NPV (net present value)
- Conducted due diligence on US solar companies
- Screened private equity and venture capital firms in India for prospective investors in clean tech projects
- Drafted investment memo and worked with legal counsel on edits
- Compiled presentations for fundraising efforts
- Developing a business planning and consolidation software for an investment holding client firm.
- Private equity fund and retail event project for a fund management firm.
- Reverse mergers.
- helping local companies get listed on the US stock markets, or help Chinese companies that are already listed in the US stock market get more financing.
