Description

On this safari program, you shall visit the Amboseli national park at the floors of the Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The Amboseli national park is relatively small and game is easy to spot.

The mount Kilimanjaro offers a dramatic background for wildlife photography; 2 nights shall be spent at either luxury lodge or tented camp.

The Tsavo west national park is large, hilly and scraggy, a result of its volcanic origin. The terrain is scenic and the atmosphere adventurous. The rhino sanctuary, the Mzima springs are musts for this park.

The Tsavo east is plainer, typical savannah country. Game viewing drives are longer.

Accommodation on safari is provided for optional luxury lodges and or tented camps in different standard categories. Options of finishing at Nairobi city hotels or Mombasa and the Kenya coast beach hotels.

Highlights

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park: 250 km: 4 Hrs drive.
* 0700hrs: Depart from your Nairobi city hotel.
* The morning road journey will take us via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.
* The journey is through open Africa with its expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribes men and their cattle.
* You arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch.
* An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled for the late afternoon when animals are at their most active.
* Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro will sheath of the clouds and the snow peaked peaks will be awesome.
* Elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, antelopes will be seen. Showers, refreshments, meals and overnight at your lodge or tented camp accommodation option.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park.
* Game viewing drives, scenery viewing, relaxation.
* Day spent at the Amboseli national park with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.
* Your accommodation unit shall provide relaxation, meals and activities in between. Your driver guide and safari minibus are at your disposal.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park ,Tsavo West National Park: 140km: 3 Hrs
* Early pre-breakfast game viewing drives at the Amboseli with great chances of the morning Mount Kilimanjaro views.
* Breakfast at your lodge / camp accommodation unit.
* We shall proceed to the Tsavo west National park with game viewing drives en-route. Arrive at your lodge for a shower, refreshments and lunch.
* A short rest while you sample your accommodation amenities will follow.
* Afternoon game viewing drives with a visit to the rhino sanctuary. You shall spot elephants, giraffe and other game on your game drives.
* The Tsavo west national park's terrain is hilly and scraggy, the scenery is dramatic and the sense of adventure more pronounced.
* Showers, refreshments, dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp accommodation choice.

Day 4: Tsavo west National Park-Tsavo East National Park: 140km: 3 Hrs.
* Game viewing drives, Mzima springs visit, drive to Tsavo East:
* Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive at the Tsavo west.
* Break fast at lodge/ camp unit.
* You shall depart your lodge and visit the Mzima springs with a choice of picnic or buffet lunch.
* Proceed to Tsavo east national park with game spotting and scenery viewing en route. You and your driver guide will decide on the sequence of events.
* Showers, refreshments, dinner and overnight shall be at lodge or tented camp unit.

Day 5: Tsavo East National Park- Nairobi or Mombasa
* Your last day of safari !
* Game viewing drives, drive to Nairobi city or Kenya coast beach hotels.
* Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive at the Tsavo east. Break fast at the lodge/ camp.
* Depart Tsavo East for Nairobi or Mombasa.
* Drop off at your respective hotel or the Jomo kenyatta international airport for your outbound flight.
