    An American Leadership Program is a fun, challenging summer experience abroad that is an intellectual work-out, teaches important life skills, develops maturity and prepares you for college. Travel, work and team up with students from all over the USA. Come alone or come with friends; either way you'll return home with many new friends from around the country.

    Discover Paris: Tour itinerary

    Day 1-2: Fly overnight to France
    Arrive in Paris

    Day 3: PARIS-VERSAILLES
    Explore Paris with a local guide:
    - Arc de Triomphe
    - Champs Elysees
    - Eiffel Tower
    - Les Invalides
    - Notre Dame Cathedral
    Visit the Palace of Versailles
    See Paris from atop the Eiffel Tower

    Day 4: PARIS
    Explore the Louvre Museum
    *LEAP! Cover the CanvasCover the Canvas
    Live the artist's life. Explore line, color, perspective, negative space and form, then paint a masterpiece inspired by the beauty of Paris.
    Add: Moulin Rouge

    Day 5: PARIS
    Add: Giverny:
    Visit Monet's home in Giverny**
    Explore the Latin Quarter

    Day 6: Return Home to the United States, or
    Add: Nice Extension

    DAY 6-8: NICE EXTENSION:
    Take the TGV to Nice
    Explore Nice with your Tour Director:
    - Vieux Nice
    - Promenade des Anglais
    - Russian Orthodox Church

    Customize this tour by adding:
    - Moulin Rouge
    - Giverny
    - Nice Extension

    **before April 1 a visit to Van Gogh's home at Auvers-sur-Oise will be substituted

    Highlights could include dinner at the Eiffel Tower, walking the Great Wall of China, zip-lining through the Amazon, visiting Machu Picchu, exploring European culture in your study group, participating in a raft building competition in Madrid.

Students grow more confident and mature while gaining important leadership, teamwork and communication skills.
