    Welfare Sociology Master's Programme is an interdisciplinary study course that falls into three distinct parts. The first of these addresses a variety of sociological issues within a broader socio-economic context, the second deals with the core social policy epistemological issues and the final one focuses on research. Welfare Sociology Master's Programme meets the needs of both the EU and non-EU member states' students, with a consideration of rapid social changes in Europe and increasing globalisation process.

    This is a postgraduate programme that concentrates on the current issues of the social policy and is targeted to the students who have background in social science or humanities.

    The semester lasts 16 weeks and examination session takes 4 weeks. Assessment of student results will normally involve assigned course work as well as an oral or written examination.
