  • Description

The EU's newly launched European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) requires highly qualified political science specialists with a solid background in foreign and security affairs of the EU and their own national state. These will be individuals who can apply their skills in the regional integration at all levels in the framework of the ENP and contribute to the development of enlargement policies in different domains (good neighbourly relations, promotion of political, democratic, economical, and social reforms in the neighbouring EU countries). Furthermore, the development of competent human resources is crucial in order to strengthen research potential in the field of European Neighbourhood Policy. After graduation students can continue research in the framework of doctoral studies.

  • Highlights

The aim of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) study programme is to train political science specialists who will be able to become engaged in intellectually challenging work, devoted to research, analysis and assessment of the political, economical as well as social processes in the neighbouring EU countries and to provide prognoses and recommendations concerning the ENP and apply their EU-related knowledge and skills in practice.

The semester lasts 16 weeks and the examination session takes 4 weeks. Assessment of student results will normally involve assigned course work as well as an oral or written examination. The programme is conducted in English.
