Hotel/hospitality graduates who are interested in taking on the responsibilities of Assistant Housekeeping Managers. Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Performing all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds and vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction. Regularly assisting with deep cleaning projects.
* Inspecting storage rooms and room attendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repair. Control expenses and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
* Assisting with scheduling and room assignments to ensure proper coverage. Ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
* Completing all paperwork and closing duties such as filling out supply requisitions, maintenance request forms, and updating log books etc.
Qualified candidates will have the chance to fully understand the day to day operations of the various departments within a hospitality setting.
Very good communication skills are necessary. Excellent English is required. Prior experience in housekeeping is necessary.
