Mount Mary's Study Abroad Program provides several opportunities throughout the year to study in various countries. Journeys rotate on a two year schedule. Please see the website at www.mtmary.edu/studyabroad for details. Opportunities include:

Learning isn't limited by the boundaries of the classroom - or even the country - at Mount Mary College.
Study Abroad programs are open to Mount Mary College students in good standing, students from other colleges who are in good standing at their home institution, faculty, staff of Mount Mary College. Students will meet and interact with local citizens, thus exploring the current economic, political and social realities of a given country and reflect daily on the nature of the experience.
Students will look at the historical importance of other countries and experience immersion in aspects of other cultures including art, history, cuisine, etiquette, technology and race.
Students receive a deeper and renewed sense of responsibility for our shared world. Students may interact with children, youth and families, reach out to shut-in elders, or assist special education teachers.
Students will study the integration of cultural and historical relationships between counties through women's perspective changes, both past and present.
2,000-3,500 dollars
Costs vary by trip and are subject to change. Total cost may include travel, housing, tours, most meals, short term travel insurance, and tuition.

Study Abroad students have the opportunity to apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, http://www.iie.org/en/Programs/Gilman-Scholarship-Program. This scholarship is offered to students participating in Study Abroad programs and posts several deadlines.
