It’s hard to categorize Mosaic House because it is no way an average hotel or hostel. If a hotel means no interaction between guests, closed doors, stuffy staff, mini bars with sky high prices and services that no one really needs - then Mosaic House is definitely not a hotel. If a hostel means cold showers, dirty bathrooms, and malfunctioning facilities then Mosaic House is most certainly not a hostel. Mosaic House was built to satisfy 4-star quality hotel standards with rooms that are equipped with amenities galore. It isn’t however the number of stars that create the atmosphere here - it’s the people and hospitality is the key.

Our rooms are stylishly appointed and built with custom furniture and a lot of care, just as they should be. We have everything from large dorms to premium double rooms to suit our eclectic mix of travelers and budgets. The rooms feature custom made, locally produced furniture, en suite bathrooms and much more.

Location

Mosaic House is in a great central location - close to the National Theatre and just a short walk away from the famous Charles Bridge. It’s the ideal base when exploring every historical hot spot in town - from the Prague Castle to Old Town Square.

Prague is a compact city with all of the top sights either in the centre or a short walk away. Better yet if you’re an adventurous traveler looking to explore the path less trodden, then the public transport system in Prague is easy and efficient, with many metros, trams and buses at your affordable, disposal.

Mosaic House is located in Nove Mesto (the New Town), which Charles IV added on to the Old Town back in 1348. From here you are only a few minutes away from the historic Old Town sights on foot, and also a plethora of tram lines that will take you to the hip Vinohrady, the romantic Mala Strana under the Castle, the great shopping strip at Anděl and anywhere else that you would like to go.
