Description

The Minshuku Tanpopo Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in the middle of tourist attactions in Nagasaki. The Peace Memorial Park, International Cultural Hall (which houses the Atomic Bomb Museum) and the Urakami Church are all within walking distance. You may also take a taxi cab and get to any of these places in three minutes.

The bed and breakfast has 11 rooms. These rooms share common bathrooms that are open only from 4PM to 11PM. Showers, however, are available the whole day. Pets are not allowed on the premises.

If staying at the bed and breakfast isn't to your liking, the Minshuku Tanpopo has what it calls a "sister mansion," that is large enough to occupy a big family and has its own facilities, including toilet and bath.

Most room rates include not only breakfast but dinner as well. Breakfast is served promptly at 7AM and dinner starts at 6PM.

Location

By car or train:
The Minshuku Tanpopo Bed & Breakfast is approximately 10 minutes by car from the Peaceful Park exit on the Nagasaki Highway. If you're taking the train, get down at JR Urakami station and walk to the bed and breakfast. Walking takes about 15 minutes. If you take a taxi from the station, you'll get there in about three minutes.

From the airport:
At the Nagasaki Airport, take the station line bus by way of Showa Cho to Matsuyama bus stop. The trip takes approximately 50 minutes. When you reach the bus stop, take a short walk (about seven minutes) to the Minshuku Tanpopo.
