University graduates from countries outside India pursuing degree programmes in science, technology and engineering could ask for short-term 3-4 months placement in Indian research and educational institutions. We offer internship placements in all fields of study in science, technology and engineering.

We also offer placement services for research assignments of longer duration, say 1-2 years with or without fellowships in Indian research institutions for graduate students pursuing doctoral or post-doctoral programmes.

Please NOTE that this programme is NOT meant for Indians or students holding Indian Passports!

Qualifications

Candidates' age should be at least 18 yrs. They must have good academic record and excellent communication skills in English and must already be registered for an academic degree at the undergraduate or graduate level. The proposed internship must be duly recognized by the university where the student is presently studying towards the course being pursued.

The internship program is available in almost all branches of science, technology and engineering. European and American students are particularly welcome to get exposed to the Indian technological capabilities and experience the Indian culture and way of life.

Cost in US$:

We charge a fee of USD 500 for each student placement service.

Program Fees Include:

The cost of USD 500 quoted above covers our fee for support and facilitation through our office. The student seeking our service is expected to bear the cost of training, boarding and lodging while in India along with international to & fro travel expense when these are not provided by the host institution accepting the student for training. Usually, however, most training institutions are able to provide free furnished accommodation and do not charge any training fee. The typical cost of sustenance in such a case that comes on the intern is approximately about USD 300 -500 per month.

The student must therefore make adequate financial provision towards sustenance and international travel either from own resources or from family or institutional support before approaching us for seeking our services.

Salary/Pay

Depending on the financial position of the host institution, a modest stipend may be offered besides free furnished accomodation; however, we charge a nominal fee from the student for each successful placement to meet the cost of our work for the student.
