Description

Through Mente Argentina's Sushi Program, you will learn how to make the perfect sushi rice. You will also learn how to prepare all of the different ingredients and components used in creating the different varieties of sushi. This is designed for both beginners and those who wish to broaden their culinary knowledge and become more experienced sushi chefs.

The regular sushi program lasts one month. You will make all varieties of sushi as well as wok dishes and other Asian style dishes. The intensive sushi program lasts two weeks, and both individual and small group classes are available. Classes are given three times a week.

The classes will focus on learning to prepare all kinds of rolls, including: Maki, Niguiri and Sashimi. All of these techniques are taught according Japanese traditional methods, and are essential to learn before moving on to create variations. Due to the methodology of the classes you will be able to taste the pieces while they are being prepared. In this way, participants will not only learn how to make these dishes, but also how to taste them at various steps in the process.

Mente Argentina's Sushi School is known for having educated the most well known sushi chefs in Argentina and it is located in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.

The school's faculty is comprised of very distinguished professors and students work with the highest quality shari (rice), fish, and seafood. The school will provide you with all the necessary tools and resources to prepare incredible sushi.

Considering the international nature of the program, Mente Argentina's Sushi program will prepare you to work in any part of the world putting your knowledge and skills into practice. Of course, you will also be able to host friends and family to show off your command of this exquisite culinary art.

Courses start every week, have a flexible schedule and adapt to participants' availability. This will allow you free time to travel, meet people, venture outside of the city and experience a new culture!

Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish?
Mente Argentina offers you the opportunity to combine your Sushi program with Spanish lessons. This way, you will be able to learn or improve your Spanish while enjoying a unique learning experience in Buenos Aires.

Lessons last four hours and are offered from Monday to Friday at the Mente Argentina Spanish School in small groups of up to eight students. These group classes will be combined with individual Spanish lessons so that you can work specifically on your weaknesses and your areas of interest.

The teachers at our Spanish School are highly qualified and have years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. Our classes are very interactive, beneficial and above all enjoyable! The classes can be scheduled for the morning or the afternoon, so they will not conflict with your Sushi program activities.
