Argentina is home to more than 10 top ski resorts, and is considered an outstanding ski and snowboarding destination. European and American Ski and Snowboard National Teams train in Argentina from June through August.

Argentina has resorts with mountains that reach 4,300 meters high or more, such as Las Lenas, and other resorts in Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world. All of the resorts that work with Mente Argentina boast exciting night life in addition to breathtaking landscapes and powdery slopes.

The unique opportunity to ski and snowboard the Andes Mountains inspired Mente Argentina to design a program which offers participants the chance to visit various resorts in Argentina as well as the city of Buenos Aires in one continuous trip.

The program consists of a personalized clinic for those who wish to learn how to ski or snowboard for the first time at a top resort and also visit Buenos Aires. The program takes place in two cities: Buenos Aires and Bariloche, Patagonia at the Cerro Catedral Alta Patagonia Ski Center, where you will plan your customized training program with a professional instructor.

There are two program options for those who wish to participate in this clinic:

* Ski & Snowboard Intensive Clinic- two weeks.
(one week at the Ski Center and one week in Buenos Aires)

* Ski & Snowboard Regular Clinic- one month.
(two weeks at the Ski Center and two weeks in Buenos Aires)

The clinic offered by Mente Argentina covers three elements that we consider essential for a comprehensive Ski & Snowboard program:

1. Professional Training:
Mente Argentina offers a personalized training program with a professional instructor which includes both technique training sessions and practice sessions.

You can be filmed during your practice sessions so that at the end of your trip you can see the improvements you made over the course of the training. It also makes a great souvenir from the trip.

2. Snow Tour:
While at Cerro Catedral Alta Patagonia Ski Center, Mente Argentina will arrange a tour with a guide who will take you on a mountain expedition where you will be able to see the different ski slopes of varying difficulty, the different means of elevation and learn about the history of the mountain.

3. City Tour in Bariloche & City Tour in Buenos Aires:
Mente Argentina offers additional cultural activities which will allow you to make the most of your stay in Buenos Aires and your time at the ski resort.

Optional:
Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish?
Mente Argentina offers you the opportunity to combine your Ski or Snowboard program with Spanish lessons. This way, you will be able to learn or improve your Spanish while enjoying a unique learning experience in Buenos Aires.

Lessons last four hours and are offered from Monday to Friday at the Mente Argentina Spanish School in small groups of up to eight students. These group classes will be combined with individual Spanish lessons so that you can work specifically on your weaknesses and your areas of interest.

The teachers at our Spanish School are highly qualified and have years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language. Our classes are very interactive, beneficial and above all enjoyable! The classes can be scheduled for the morning or the afternoon, so they will not conflict with your Ski or Snowboard program activities.
