Paralelo is an avenue that runs from Plaza de España (square) and comes out onto the marina opposite the World Trade Center building. The so-called Poble Sec is a popular urban neighborhood that starts approximately half-way down Avenida del Paralelo.

Popular bars, restaurants, theaters and night clubs typical of Barcelona’s city life. Although Paralelo is a very busy avenue during the day, it is a quiet area for its residents. Situated just 15 minutes’ walk from the famous Ramblas, it is a good option anyone looking for a centrally located place to stay.
