The academic year is divided into two semesters: "fall" semester, from late August through December, and "spring" semester, from January through May. Courses are also offered in two "summer" sessions from May until early August.
Complete applications for the "fall" semester must be received before June 1st.
Complete applications for the "spring" semester must be received before November 1st.

* Application fee of 35.00 USD (check or money order). The fee is waived if you submit your application online.
* If English is not your first language please submit official TOEFL scores or SAT scores to Marywood University. You must contact ETS and to send these scores directly to Marywood University. If you have taken the TOEFL you do not need to take the SAT. If you have taken the SAT you do not need to take the TOEFL. Marywood University does not require the SAT II subject tests.
Marywood University requires that students achieve the following TOEFL scores:
* 530 on the written examination, or
* 197 on the computer-based exam, or
* 71 score on the Internet-based exam.
* Students who have completed an Associate Degree within the United States are not required to submit TOEFL scores.
* The minimum requirement for the SAT I exam is 900 combined Critical Reading and Math sections.
* We also accept the IELTS, with a minimum score of 5.5

* One Letter of Recommendation (eg. professor, headmaster/headmistress, mentor, etc.)

**Official means your transcripts must be certified true with a seal and/or signature from the school for them to be acceptable. If the transcripts are not in English a certified translator from a source such as World Education Services or ACCRAO (American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Offices) must translate them. Test scores must come directly from the testing offices and mailed to us directly at:
* Completed Certification of Finances form
* If you are already in the United States studying and want to transfer to Marywood you will need the Transfer of F1 Visa Form.
* All documents submitted in connection with the application become the property of the University.
