Our Bed & Breakfast is located at the historical centre of Barcelona. It is perfect for visitors who are keen on cultural turism or who wish to combine sunbathing with the discovery of the excellent Spanish cooking and the most cosmopolitan places for fun.

We are downtown, next to the famous Ramblas promenade and within a few minutes from the beaches and tourist and cultural landmarks of Barcelona city.

In the last few years Barcelona has become one of Europe´s primary travel destinations. Its tree-lined streets, its friendly people, its fascinating architecture, its delicious Mediterranean cuisine, its many and varied shops and department stores, its intense cultural life and its lively night life combine to make this charming city virtually irresistible to tourists and visitors from all over the world.

Bathed by the Mediterranean Sea and sheltered by green mountains, Barcelona has managed to combine the best in innovative contemporary culture with the mystery of ancient civilizations.

Located on the seafront promenade and flanked by two of the city´s major arteries (Vía Layetana and Las Ramblas), our elegant residence offers you the privilege of a Mediterranean view from the very heart of the city. Marina View BCN is directly across the street from two of the city´s oldest and most prestigious yacht clubs and fifty yards from Barcelona´s new Aquarium (one of the biggest in the world), the Imax and the Maremagnum theater, nightclub and shopping complex.

With due respect for the classic style of our 19th century residence, the rooms have been completely renovated in order to offer you maximum comfort and make your stay in our city into an unforgettable experience.

We are a ten minute walk from the city´s most fashionable beaches and surrounded by some of Europe´s most impressive historical, artistic and architectural monuments. The ruins of an excavated Roman city, the quiet streets and squares of medieval Barcelona, the amazing curves of the Modernist buildings of the Ensanche neighborhood, and the ultra-contemporary design of the Olympic Village and the new neighborhood of the up-coming Forum 2004 are all just a few minutes walk from our door.

Location

FROM THE AIRPORT: To go downtown, you can travel by train, bus or taxi. If you choose the train, take the footbridge located in front of Terminal 2. There is also a Bustransit service which it will take you there. Go to Sants Station. There, get the underground, line 3 (Green line) and get off at Drassanes (5 stops). We recommend you to take the Aerobus (blue), with stops in all Terminals and it takes you to Plaza Catalunya. There, you can take the underground, line 3 (Green line) and get off at Drassanes (3 stops). If you take a taxi, please remember that to the price showed by the meter, it is added a fee for luggage and zone. If you choose a public transport, please be extra careful with your belongings. There are lots of pick-pockets in Barcelona, likewise many other big cities. Keep your passport, credit cards and money in a place diificult to access. This recommendation also applies to your stay in this city.

BY CAR: If you are coming from the north, from France, take Ronda Litoral and drive on until exit 22 “BARCELONETA: Pla de Palau – Via Laietana - Port Vell”. You will be then on Passeig de Colom (Paseo de Colón in Spanish), just a few metres away from us. If you are coming from the south, take Ronda Litoral and drive until exit 21 “CIUTAT VELLA: Port Vell, E. Marítima Balear”. You will arrive at Christopher Columbus statue, where Passeig Colom just begins. Just there, to your right, you will see the entrance to a large parking place. There are other parkings places in a walking distance. We will provide you with more information when you book.
