Manhattan GMAT hires expert teachers who have proven their mastery of the GMAT and who can engage students of all ability levels in a stimulating and rigorous learning environment. Teachers are hired to instruct full classes and to tutor students one-on-one or in small groups. We provide extensive training and all student and instructor materials, but encourage the development of unique teaching styles.
The pay is per hour for all classroom teaching and private tutoring. Teaching and tutoring primarily take place during evenings and weekends.
Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for the position:
* A 99% score on an Official GMAT CAT exam (official score report must be provided).
* Extensive teaching experience & expertise.
* A relatively flexible schedule, particularly during evenings and weekends.
* Fluency in English.
All Manhattan GMAT Instructors must:
* Sign a non-compete contract, agreeing not to teach the GMAT for any other companies. (Note: Manhattan GMAT does not hire any individuals who are bound by non-compete agreements with other companies.)
* Make a minimum 1-year commitment, averaging a minimum of 3 hours of instruction per week.
