Mahidol Univeristy International College is a four-year college in Thailand where all the classes are taught in English.
In addition to undergraduate degrees in business, travel industry management, social studies, fine arts, and the sciences, MUIC has an MBA program and a Master of Management in Tourism and Hospitality Management. MUIC's Pre-College program provides intensive English instruction for students who are not yet prepared to study university subjects in English.
Foreign students may come to MUIC in one of three ways. If their schools have exchange agreements with MUIC, they may attend as Exchange Students. Students at universities that do not have agreements with us can spend one or more terms at MUIC as Visiting Students and then transfer the credits they earn back to their home universities. Foreign Full-Time Students are also welcome to enroll at MUIC, where they can earn a full degree in any of our programs.
Housing, orientation, and Thai language classes are provided for all foreign students.
Teachers at overseas colleges and universities can bring their students to Thailand for an in-country educational experience by working with MUIC's Special Projects department. We have hosted groups from Columbia University in New York and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, among others.
MUIC is part of Mahidol University, which is one of the three major public universities in Thailand.
More information is available on the MUIC website.
MUIC students both Thai and foreign often go on to study as graduate students at top worldwide universities, or to work at international companies in Bangkok.
MUIC graduates have received support as Teaching/Research Assistants in PhD programs at McGill University, the University of Nevada, and Case Western Reserve.
