Comprising four production lines and including presses ranging from 60 to 200t capacity the company is ideally suited to the close-tolerance manufacture of almost any component. All their lines are equipped with decoilers and automatic feeders. Their mechanical presses are interlinked by roller conveyors, to minimize wip and improve materials handling, housekeeping and ergonomics.

Highlights

This company are presently installing a continuous process controlled atmosphere brazing furnace. An intern will also assist with running trials, organizing logistics and preparing the production documentation. Working as an intern with the company you will be involved with all aspects of Automotive Engineering related to metal pressings and sub assemblies. You will work alongside some of the top craftsmen in South Africa in this industry and gain excellent experience in High precision metal forming. Your duties will be varied and numerous and you will also gain exposure to areas from planning, design to manufacturing.

Qualifications

The intern should preferably be studying towards a degree in Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, have a strong technical and organizational background, reasonable English language skills, some previous experience and be hard-working, independent and reliable.
