The project starts every Sunday of a week. It is however flexible.
There is currently a great need for volunteers in the schools in Du Noon, the township of Table View in Cape Town. isiXhosa is the dominant language but classes are conducted in English. Du Noon is a poor, overcrowded area. Volunteers can help at the junior or senior school, or at both. Any skills a volunteer has can be used to teach the children.
Primary school:
Students are between the ages of 6 and 12. Volunteers are needed in the following fields: sports coaching especially hockey, arts and culture, producing plays and shows and assisting in the library. Computer literacy is a great skill to teach the children.
Secondary School:
Students are between the ages of 13 and 18. Volunteers are needed in the following fields: sport especially touch rugby, administration, setting up the new library and helping students with remedial classes. Qualifications are an advantage for volunteers at this school to have.

Love for children and teaching. No experience is necessary. If you have no experience you will be instructed by trained professional on how to kite surf. This is all included in the price. The love for the sun, the sea and sports.
R233 (17 GBP) per day.
Airport pickup and return transfer to Cape Town International Airport, accommodation in a dorm, orientation and BBQ, free tour (See options below), BBQ in local township, welcome pack, donation to the organization, 24hr support.
