  • Description

LPTM in its contribution in empowering young people to access jobs opportunities has been running a training programs such as: Heavy Equipment Operator Training, particularly Excavator Operator Training, Heavy Equipment Mechanics Training, Automotive Mechanics (Car and Motorcycle repair) training, Welders Training and Land Surveying training.

  • Highlights

Vacancies are made available for internship and volunteering for students who likes to gain practical experience in mechanical practice e.g. automotive and heavy equipment mechanics. Whereas the work-shop is very small and far from modern, it still can give colorful experience in identifying engines, mechanical transmission and hydraulic transmission as well as electronic systems of heavy equipment. Besides, the opportunity to sit on the operator cabin and experience the thrill of controlling the boom is also a very rare opportunity. Those who do intern for study purpose will be provided with certificate.

This opportunities are also open for experienced mechanics who like to contribute in helping as volunteer. They can spend some hours during the week to advice our staffs and our technicians as well as our trainers in the workshop as well as in the classes.

The intern and volunteer can arrange their own time in the work shop so that they would be able to plan their stay in Makassar effectively. They can plan to allocate enough time to visit interesting places and to more meet the local people.

During the week ends and holiday you will have the opportunity to visit many interesting destinations and excursion places such as Toraja, Bantimurung, Malino or Tanjung Bira, etc. In the end of every one month of stay you may have one week free time to visit other places of the country like Bali, Bunaken, Borobudur, etc.
