In Florence, LPI offers an intensive Italian Language and Arts program at the Florence University of the Arts (FUA). Students attend an Italian language class and an elective art course of their choice taught in English with U.S. and other international students. Each week cultural activities are organized to help students experience Florence and its rich culture. The following is a list of cultural activities the LPI staff in Florence has organized in the past: Visit the Accademia and view Michelangelo's David, Tour of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore , Uffizi Gallery tour, Tour of the mountain town of Fiesole, Visit the Boboli Gardens and Palazzo Pitti.
