The Loyola University Maryland Center at Newcastle University is a great study abroad opportunity for American college students. Whether you choose to study abroad for one semester or a full academic year, the Loyola Center will ensure you will a successful experience. You will have the opportunity to explore new cultures, meet new people, and will gain a new perspective on the world around you. Because you will be studying through Loyola University Maryland, you will receive a Loyola transcript with American credits and grades. This will make credits easily transferable to other American universities ensuring you stay on track with your degree path at your home university.

This is a fully packaged program that includes Loyola tuition and fees, housing, airfare, and many other program benefits. Newcastle has world-renowned Science/Biomedical Schools as well as excellent Business and Humanities schools. There are about 20,000 students at Newcastle University with an international population of approximately 5,000 students. This program works best for Science majors but is open to students in all degree programs.

This Loyola Center at Newcastle provides many program benefits. Students have the opportunity to study abroad for the fall semester, spring semester, or a full year. The program includes Loyola tuition and fees for 15 credits for 1 semester and 30 credits for the full year, accommodation, 1 round trip airfare ticket per semester, a full time on-site director, multiple day and overnight trips throughout the UK, 1 weekend trip in Europe for fall semester students only, 1 week long trip in Europe for spring and full year students, celebrations for holidays and other special occasions, and various program sponsored meals. Students are able to take courses both inside and outside of their major.
