Programs are geared for young Jewish adults, ages 21-30, with minimal formal Jewish education. No Hebrew or prior experience is required.

Typical Volunteer

Young, Jewish adult, haven't been very involved in Jewish life since your bar/bat mitzvah, or possibly ever; looking to connect to a greater sense of community; interested in being part of an amazing group of open-minded, mature adventurers who are passionate about making a difference to repair the world; looking for a physically and spiritually challenging experience to expand your horizons.

Scholarships are Available

Local scholarships and in-house subsidies are available.
In order to qualify for subsidies from Livnot U'Lehibanot, you must:
* Be 21 - 30 years-old
* Have minimal formal Jewish education and be interested in connecting to your Jewish heritage
* Apply for any scholarships available in your area; our staff will gladly assist you in this process.

Livnot U'Lehibanot is a Jewish, transdenominational based organization. We do not require our participants to be of the same faith. Our volunteers will not be involved in religious proselytizing.
