  • Description

    Teach in low-income schools in Nairobi and the outskirts. Teachers work as volunteers at the local schools and teach any subject of their choice from English, Math, Science to Art & Craft and Music. Teacher may also coach sports and be involved in extra-curricular activities such as field trips.

  • Salary/Pay

    This is a volunteer position with no pay. The schools are community projects which are under-funded and usually unable to pay even their own permanent staff. Volunteer teachers help to provide teaching relief at the schools where there is inadequate staff. The project fee paid by the volunteer teachers takes care of their accommodation expenses for the duration of their stay. The fee also includes airport transfers and all administration expenses.
