    Become involved in a variety of activities to help orphaned children flourish. Help them with their homework, play games, sing songs, indulge in arts & drama and social education, you name it. All projects involve an element of English teaching - methods and duration differ from project to project, from person to person.

    If you love to work with children and young people in a different culture this is for you. Be enthusiastic, patient, imaginative, resourceful, have initiative and be motivated and you will star. Working with children and young people is challenging and ever so rewarding.

    Sri Lanka is India in a nutshell. The tropical island offers amazing beaches, nature and real mountains for hiking and adventure.

    Visit the amazing city of Kandy with its spice market and gardens, climb Adams peak, walk to Worlds End, enjoy waterfalls, explore wildlife safaris in the many nature reserves, visit ancient temples and cities, ride an elephant, enjoy the sun and beautiful beaches and take a dive in the lovely ocean water.

    * Accommodation: Home stay at a local family
    * Food: Three meals and tea Monday to Friday

    * Orientation: One day before starting the project
    * Telephone sim card (pre-pay) whilst in Sri Lanka
    * Support: In-country team & 24 hour emergency support
    * Drop off: Safe and comfortable transport to the airport
