Sri Lanka is India in a nutshell. The tropical island offers amazing beaches, nature and real mountains for hiking and adventure.
Visit the amazing city of Kandy with its spice market and gardens, climb Adams peak, walk to Worlds End, enjoy waterfalls, explore wildlife safaris in one of the many nature reserves, ride an elephant, enjoy the sun and beautiful beaches and take a dive in the lovely ocean waters.

* Not required, but TEFL certification and/or university degree or teaching degree is a big plus.
* Teaching in Sri Lanka actually helped some volunteers to get into teaching programs back home.

* Telephone sim card (pre-pay) whilst in the country

* Support: In-country team & 24 hour emergency support
* Drop off: Safe and comfortable transport to the airport
This is a volunteer teaching program. Unfortunately, there is no money to pay the volunteers for teaching. The schools are poor and in rural areas and can't even afford to recruit local English teachers.
