We are an Ecotourism company in Ecuador. We develop custom trips for multiple types of clients visiting Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

We manage a fleet of 2 catamarans and a luxury yacht. We are currently trying to promote our company via internet. We are looking for interns in the following areas:

* Marketing
* Travel Writting
* Webmaster
* Web Design
* Photographers

Anyone participating will learn Ecuadorian customs and will receive training from local office managers with whom they can share their knowledge. The opportunity of spending 6 or more weeks at our Quito office will allow you to learn about inbound tourism to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, practice marketing, writing and other business skills. This is a great opportunity for tourism graduates.

Students that show outstanding performance will have the oportunity to visit areas of Ecuador.

Students that show outstanding performance will be offered opportunities to visit other parts of Ecuador and South America as well.

Travel writers, webmasters and tourism students: Our ground services in Ecuador cover all 4 regions of the country: Andes, Amazon, Pacific coast lowlands and the Galapagos Islands. We also have a Cuzco office that is just opening and we need marketing materials, photos, travel stories and content for our websites. Interns that show outstanding blogging and writing skills will get the opportunity to join 1 of our trips.

Tourism students that do their internship in our marketing department will get the opportunity to interact with international wholesalers that buy our services. We also would like to recieve interns who speak and write: Flemish, Swedish, Finish, Danish, French, German, Italian, Russian as a means of opening new markets for us throughout Europe.

Qualifications

We are looking for tourism students, web marketers, programmers, webmasters, travel writers and tourism personnel; graduates or in their final years of studies.

Person must be self-suficcient, honest, willing to ruff it out in some occasions, have at least a 3 month commitment. All students/interns must have a letter of recommendation from at least 1 teacher or former employer.

Travel Writers & webmasters: Excellent command of English language, good use of a photo processor (photoshop or other), knowledge of digital cameras, be able to use a wysiwyg editor for updating webpages, weblogs, be able to use a content management system for the internet.

Additional requirements for Webmaster: Design knowledge for new websites, templating for content management systems, database programming, web marketing.

Tourism graduates: Command of English or another foreign language, willing to learn spanish, hardworking, sales knowledge, logistics knowledge, customer service, itinerary development.

Salary/Pay

We offer free lunches Monday to Friday (additionals are negotiable and based upon experience and performance), after 3 months you get 1 trip in mainland Ecuador, after 6 months you get 1 trip to the Amazon basin, after 9 months you get a Galapagos cruise
