French Teacher training course

Objectives:
The main objectives of this training course are to offer non-native school teachers the opportunity to:
- update and perfect their French linguistic skills
- develop and sharpen their socio-cultural knowledge of modern French life and reality
- but also familiarize with current and practical language teaching tools to upgrade and energize their teaching of French or in French.

Organization:
Training session of 2 weeks, 32 lessons of 45 minutes per week, including:
- Language development and cultural teaching materials courses (23 lessons of 45 minutes per week) suitable from Independent user (B1-B2) to proficient user( C1-C2): Linguistic and cultural issues explored both to update Teachers French skills and to collect sample of materials or strategies for a French class
- + 4 practical workshops per week (9 lessons of 45 minutes per week):
Providing practical teaching materials and tools to be used in a French class (in terms of phonetics, civilization, class resources and strategies&)

*Minimum: 6 participants - Maximum 10 participants per class
* Home-stay in Toulouse

=>Practical workshops (9 afternoon lessons of 45 minutes per week)
- To develop pronunciation correction techniques
- To focus on French cultural heritage and contemporary literary texts
and authors
- To provide a discussion space to analyze teaching strategies and
learning process
- To review some current and practical language teaching tools and
materials: e.g.
*Teaching grammar and vocabulary
*Using internet resources
*Using games, role plays and global simulation
*Using comics and tales
