Our French daily lessons are specially designed to give you the opportunity to develop your confidence in communicating in todays world, to practice an up-to-date French, to explore French culture and achieve significant progress.

The course contents are defined in accordance to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).

Intensive French language courses take place in our centre in Toulouse all year-round and are available for all levels of the CEFR*:

* Basic User: A1 (Breakthrough) and A2 (Waystage - Elementary)
Independent User: B1 (Threshold Intermediate 1) and B2 (Vantage-
Intermediate 2)
Proficient User: C1 (Effective operational proficiency) and C2 (Mastery)

Highlights

Intensive French Courses Description:
The Intensive French courses consist of 23 group lessons of 45 minutes per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:15 to 13:00 each morning.

Daily lessons are held in small groups, never more than 12 students, and entirely in French. The small groups allow for real interactivity, an exchange of opinions and a collaboration between students. In class, the 4 basic skills are systematically covered: priority is given to oral communication (listening comprehension and speaking) but writing skills are also covered by some activities during the class and more precisely developed at home by the assignment of homework exercises.

Grammar is taught in communicative situations to facilitate the integration of new linguistic structures and provide linguistic tools for rapid and efficient oral progress. Written exercises and a bit of grammatical theory are proposed in order to enhance oral skills.

The wide range of up-to-date topics and socio-cultural issues explored during the course will help you to practice a language adapted to a variety of real-life situations.

The linguistic and lexical contents provided also meet the requirements of Official French certifications (DELF/DALF and TCF)

Course resources:
Our teaching methods rely on authentic and active resources adapted to each level to inspire motivation, exchange, investment and confidence in communicating: role play, news & internet articles, photographs & video, songs & audio recordings, games of expression, authentic documents of French daily life, but also explanatory grammatical cards and exercises&

Assessment:
- Initial evaluation: Students are asked to fill in a written test and send it us back at least 1 week before the beginning of their course. Students oral level will be assessed during the first part of the class.
- Formative evaluation:
*During daily courses, teachers set up regular follow-up and ongoing corrections.
*Every 4 or 5 weeks, an assessment of linguistic skills is proposed to formally track students progress and decide exactly when to pass to a higher level.
Final evaluation (summative evaluation):
*An optional final exam based upon the criteria and scale of the CEFR is proposed for a training period of a minimum of 3 weeks. This evaluation defines, in a Certificate (portfolio) students written and oral skills.
